Morning all, I logged on this morning and the first thing I saw was this article.

Wicked effect on star's voice forces her to call it quits

AFTER weeks of speculation, one of the stars of the hit musical Wicked, Amanda Harrison, has quit the show to preserve her voice and to pursue film, TV and recording opportunities.

For those interested, apparently Amanda will be performing at Etihad Stadium for tonight's AFL match (I'm not sure what she's singing, I doubt it's Wicked, but who knows...).

I'm assuming (well, hoping) her performance will be televised, along with the game (which starts at 8pm on Channel 7), so everybody watch! :)

Hey guys,
I saw the paper at work, at the front near the top there was a picture from 'One Short Day' with Lucy & Amanda with a caption saying there was an article on page 3.  It's basically about WAAPA graduates (did you know Amanda attended there for a short time too?)..doesn't mention Patrice Tipoki though..strangely enough, she's also a WAAPA ( Read more... )

Tonight's show was one of the funniest shows I've ever seen. Lucy and Amanda were freaking hilarious through the whole show.
